The IPB has once again been recognized for its exemplary actions in terms of equal opportunity-oriented personnel and organizational policies and has received the TOTAL E-QUALITY certification for the sixth time in a row, which is valid until the end of 2027.
According to the jury's statement, IPB has long been convincing with its established measures to promote equal opportunities and diversity, but was able to expand its activities during the last application period and make them visible with the help of successful public relations work. Newly established measures include, for example, “eLearning on the AGG for all employees” and the implementation of annual diversity days.
The jury also attests that the institute continues to practice diversity-conscious human resources management for all target groups, with flexible working time models, well-equipped counseling and complaint offices, and measures to promote work-life balance. Particularly welcome is the introduction of the “Ethics, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Guideline” in 2024, which enshrines protection against discrimination within the meaning of the AGG as a core principle. Noteworthy measures in this area include seminars on leadership skills, including individual coaching, for young scientists, as well as workshops on mental health issues and psychological stress.
Since 1996, TOTAL E-QUALITY e.V. has been awarding coveted ratings for gender-equitable personnel policies in companies, government agencies, and academic institutions.
