Administration and Infrastructure

The A&I staff supports the research departments in achieving the strategic aims of the institute. The A&I department provides the following services:

• recruitment and support of academic and non-academic institute members, non-academic training programs, gender equality and dual-career opportunities
  
  
• coordination of program planning and performance-oriented budget management as well as consulting for third-party funded projects and cooperation agreements
  
  
• cultivation of research plants and ensuring availability of chemicals for scientific experiments
  
  
• high availability of state-of-the-art research and computer equipment
  
  
• research-related development, maintenance and care of institute buildings and external facilities
  
  
• a broad range of online media as well as systematic archiving and provision of research data
