From 27 to 28 November 2019, research data managers, developers and users met in Halle for the 5th RADAR Workshop. RADAR stands for Research Data Repository that serves for archiving and publishing research data from completed scientific studies of various disciplines. RADAR was developed as a cooperation project funded by the DFG (2013-2016) including project partners from Technical Information Library (TIB), Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München, the Steinbuch Center for Computing (SCC) of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry. The FIZ Karlsruhe started operations of the research data repository RADAR in March 2017. Project partners and interested parties continue to meet in regular workshops to discuss the use of the repository and its further development.
