For the second time in a row, the IPB received the TOTAL-E-QUALITY title for the years 2013 to 2015. Thus, the successful and sustained commitment of our institute to gender equality of men and women in professions has been appreciated. In 2010, the IPB was awarded for the first time in this case.
The jury especially emphasized the highly increased proportion of female postdoctoral researchers (from 8 in 2007 to 14 in 2013) as well as the new opportunities to enhance the careers of female researchers by implementing the structured promotion of young researchers and supporting manifold collaborations.
The IPB may use the title now until 2015. In 2016, a new application will be possible that could lead to a new award for a further three years.
