New Guiding Principles of the Leibniz Association

The Guiding Principles for the Actions in the Leibniz Association are the first association-wide code of conduct and were drawn up in close collaboration with a group of Senate and Executive Board members and the central ombudsperson of the Leibniz Association. The draft was discussed within the Sections and presented to the member institutions of the Leibniz Association by the Executive Board. The General Assembly unanimously adopted the principles on 28 November 2019.

The „Principles for our Actions“ are a self-commitment both for the individual member institutions and for the association as a whole. They are fleshed out by other Leibniz Association guidelines and fundamental documents, and are intended to support both strategy development and day-to-day actions in the institutions.

You can now find the text of the guiding principles (Download PDF) as well as further texts on Leibniz Integrity online in the section "Leibniz Integrity" on the WGL website.
