The Leibniz Research Network "Bioactive Compounds" has again announced the Leibniz Drug of the Year Prize and its annual Research Award. While the Leibniz Drug of the Year award honors important research activities in the field of bioactive agents, the Research Award of the Leibniz Research Network acknowledges outstanding scientific personalities active in a research field relevant to the network. The winners await prize money of EUR 2000 each and an invitation to the conference Wirkstofftage 2023 on May 24-25, 2023 in Braunschweig.

The Leibniz Research Network "Bioactive Compounds" consisting of 16 Leibniz Institutes bundles competences in the isolation and production of bioactive compounds, their effects and application. The network is funded by the Leibniz Association.
