The "European Liaison Office of the German Research Organizations", better known by the short name KoWi, offers doctoral students and postdocs regular one-day information events on research funding. This series of events entitled "Research in Europe" offers participants a compact overview of current research funding opportunities at a national and European level. In addition, it facilitates the direct contact with various research and funding organizations and getting to know their programs or institutions. Also, one can get first-hand tips on successful grant proposal-writing and application. The organizations are available throughout the day for questions about career planning in research.
