IPB hosts European cytoskeleton meeting

This year's EPCC was hosted at the IPB.

From June 29-30, 2023, plant cytoskeleton enthusiasts from all over Europe met for the 8th European Plant Cytoskeletal Club (EPCC). This time, IPB scientist Katharina Bürstenbinder and her team were the organizers, making IPB in Halle the host institute for the event. The EPCC brings together plant researchers from a wide range of fields who share a common interest in the cytoskeleton. Through lectures a poster session participants had ample opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss research problems and initiate new collaborations. A total of 60 participants from 11 countries attended. The prizes for the best poster and best presentation were awarded to Annemarie Bok from Wageningen University and Research and Shu Yao Leong from ZMBP Tübingen, respectively. The meeting received support by the German Society for Plant Sciences and by Wiley Cytoskeleton.
