New Administrative Director at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry
Peter Zuber is the new Administrative Director of the IPB
Since August 1, 2019 Peter Zuber is the new Administrative Director of the Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry (IPB) in Halle. Mr. Zuber studied business administration at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and at the Merseburg University of Applied Sciences. After his studies, he led the accounting and financial management for various wholesale companies and most recently worked as commercial manager and authorized signatory of Bilfinger Personalmanagement GmbH Linz, Austria.
As head of the Department Administration and Infrastructure at the IPB, an exciting field of activity awaits him. In addition to the core areas of administration, he will also be responsible for data and energy management as well as for the various construction measures at the institute. "I'm really looking forward to the new challenge," Peter Zuber comments on his start at the institute.
At the IPB, too, people are delighted: "Mr. Zuber will support the IPB's research mission administratively with energy and expertise and will set new impulses for its future development," explains the Institute's Managing Director, Professor Steffen Abel. "I am very pleased that we could win him as a first-class leader with a high level of professional and social competence".
