The Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry (IPB) cordially invites interested secondary school students and their parents to this year's Tag der Berufe (Day of Vocational Training).

On Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

In the foyer of the IPB, Weinberg 3, 06120 Halle
At information stands, the IPB's trainers and trainees will present the following professions:
- Management assistant for office management,
- Gardener (specializing in ornamental horticulture),
- IT specialist (specializing in system integration),
- and biology laboratory technician.
Here, you can ask your questions about how the vocational training is structured, what qualifications you need, and much more. You can even try out some experiments and get a first practical impression of the job profiles. Upon request, a guided tour will be available.

The Tag der Berufe is an initiative of the Federal Employment Agency Regional Directorate Saxony-Anhalt-Thuringia. The event, which takes place every year in March, is aimed at secondary school students grade 7 and 8. The IPB has been successfully offering vocational training since 1993 and regularly takes part in the Tag der Berufe.
