We are happy to welcome anyone interested to our public events, such as the Long Night of Sciences – always on the first Friday in July – or on Careers Day. The Long Night of Sciences with up to 1500 visitors has developed into a major annual highlight for people from Halle and elsewhere.

Once or twice a year, we offer well-known and lesser known regional artists the opportunity to exhibit their works in our foyer and corridors. Sometimes, the pictures are directly related to research, because they are often created by former scientists. We would like to invite to visit a vernissage at the IPB and see our institute from its joyful and colorful side.
