Exhibition "Gene World and Nutrition"

More than 1000 guests visited our institute in June 2000 to critically discuss the theme gene technology and plant breeding. The exhibition "Gene World and Nutrition" was presented by the Alimentarium Food Museum of Vevey, Switzerland. Interactive exhibits informed the guests about the history of plant breeding and the increasing role of genetechnology in identifying and creating new kinds of productive and resistant plants.
