Hints for Users
The IPB has a scientific library with journals and books focusing on chemistry, biochemistry and biology.

• Currently the library has 30,000 volumes and 6,000 books.
• Books can be borrowed for up to four weeks.
• New users are asked to contact the help desk.<//font></><//></><//></><//></><//></><//></><//></><//></><//></><//></><//></><//></><//></><//></><//></><//>

Where to find what
You will find the library in a separate, newly renovated part of the institute.

• At the entrance you can find coat hangers, lockers and the library catalogue.
• The reading room offers 18 working spaces: six of them have an computer access. Current journals, dictionaries, and many other books are here.
• The storage rooms with journals from previous years are only accessible to institute members and the library staff.
• A photocopier (currently located at the entrance) may be used by everybody. External visitors need to use coins to operate the machine.
• In the upper floor are five studies for guest, diploma and Phd students.
